Our Story · A real person behind LiveStalks

Hi, I'm Adam — and there's a real person behind LiveStalks.

I built LiveStalks to connect your farm directly with the chefs, restaurants, butchers, country stores, and cafés right in your community — so you can sell wholesale, deliver direct, and grow with someone who's actually in it with you.

You're already up against Big Ag and the big wholesalers every single day. The last thing you need is one more anonymous platform treating you like a number. That's not what this is. There's a name and a face behind LiveStalks — mine — and I'd love to grow this alongside you.

Grown Local… Served Local…

The spark

It started with a friend and a farm

I've spent my whole life in technology — and just as long loving farmers markets and the small businesses behind them. So when a friend from my business networking group told me his buddy's farm was struggling to sell and market what they grew, it stuck with me. He asked if I could build them an online store.

That one question opened up something much bigger for me. Why build a single store for one farm, when I could bring a bunch of small farms together — give you the technology to reach local chefs and restaurants, and help get your food onto local menus? I'd heard my whole life that farms are struggling. Here was a way I could actually do something about it: help family farms like yours come together and go toe-to-toe with the big food wholesalers.

So I started building. Not as a company looking for customers — as one person who wanted to help.

The problem I saw

Why I think farms get left behind on technology

Here's what I figured out pretty quickly: it's not that you don't want better tools. It's that the barrier to entry is just too high. The technology is out there, but most producers were never shown what's possible — and honestly, learning it is one more job on top of the hundred you already have.

That's the part I wanted to take off your plate. I've made LiveStalks easy to jump into — no steep learning curve, no jargon. You tell me what you've got, and I help connect you to the buyers who want it. And if you get stuck, you're not emailing a help desk in a void. You're reaching a real person who knows your name.

What I'm building

What I'm building for you

LiveStalks is a wholesale marketplace. Your products go in front of local chefs, restaurants, country stores, butchers, and cafés who are actively looking for fresh, local ingredients — and you deliver direct to them. No middleman warehouse. No produce sitting for weeks. No chasing leads you don't have time to chase.

That's the part nobody else does well. Plenty of tools will hand you a website and wish you luck. I'd rather bring you the buyers and then get out of your way — keeping the relationship between you and your chef direct, so more of the value stays with you. When you do well, I do well. That's how I want it to work.

Who it's for

Who I'm building this for

LiveStalks is for the growers and makers who pour everything into a great product: family farms, bakers and dessert makers, mushroom and microgreen growers, and all the small businesses turning out something delicious. If you make it well and you want it on local menus and shelves, I want to help you get it there.

Where this is going

Where I want to take this

My goal is simple: give you the tools to grow, and make farming worth it for the next generation. Younger farmers are looking for a better way to handle every part of running a farm — and most of them don't want to spend their days chasing chefs and customers. I want to carry that weight for you, so you keep more of your profit and get back to growing.

And the community wins too. Food that comes direct from your field — not trucked across the country or parked in a warehouse — is just better. That's what I'm growing toward: thriving local farms, better food, and a real partner you can count on. Not a logo. A person.

Come grow with me

26
First farms
5
Restaurant partners

I'm launching with my first 26 farms and 5 restaurant partners — and that count is climbing. It's the start of a local food network built to stand up to the big wholesalers, one community at a time. I'd be honored to have your farm be part of it.

📷 ASSET — 2–3 vendor/chef testimonials with name, business, and photo. (Add as they come in; uncomment the testimonial grid above.)

Let's get your products
on local menus.

If you grow it, bake it, or make it — I'll help you sell it to the chefs and shops near you. And you'll always know exactly who you're working with.
